Servers and domains

We set up and maintain the servers your websites, applications and devices run on, and register and manage your domains. One partner for your software and the place it runs, with green hosting through Combell.

## What does a server and hosting partner take care of?

A domain is the address people type to reach you, hosting is where your website or application runs, and a server is the machine, physical or virtual, that does the work. A hosting partner registers and renews your domains, manages the DNS records behind them, keeps your websites and applications online over HTTPS and keeps the servers up to date.

## Domains and DNS

We register new domains and take over existing ones, track renewals so an address never lapses, and manage the DNS records that point your domain to your website, your applications and your email provider.

## Hosting for websites and applications

The websites we build on Kirby CMS and the applications we build on Laravel run on hosting we manage, all served over HTTPS. Our hosting partner is Combell, which runs green hosting.

## Servers for your platforms

Some software needs more than shared hosting: an ERP platform with many users, a digital signage network, IoT devices that report data, or an application with AI features. For those we set up servers, install what the application needs and keep the system up to date.

## One partner for software and hosting

When the team that builds your software also runs the place it lives, there is one address for every question. An update, a slow page or a domain renewal does not get passed between suppliers.
